Eating and weaning
Boy aged 7 years old
She is sensitive, supportive, encouraging, kind, professional and great fun. My only wish is that I had found her sooner
Kathryn made ground breaking progress with my son, aged 7 years, in terms with getting him eating, getting involved with cooking and communicating how he feels. She taught both him and me so much.
I realised we were in a rut when I contacted Kathryn but only now do I realise quite how far we had sunk. An immense weight has been lifted off of my shoulders and instead of dreading the weekly food shop I now look forward to it due to Kathryn’s ideas and guidance.
Kathryn walked into our lives seamlessly. She is sensitive, supportive, encouraging, kind, professional and great fun. My only wish is that I had found her sooner!

Our three days with Kathryn helped iron out Lucien’s issues with meal times.
We all loved having Kathryn in our home. She sat with Lucien and they created a weekend menu together and cooked all of the weekend food. She believes in children making their own choices rather than feeling food is forced upon them.
After eating the crunchy chicken Kathryn asked “What did your taste buds tell you Lucien?” “That was quite nice” he replied!

After a fantastically reassuring call with Kathryn, it was clear that she was right for us
When I called Kathryn I was beside myself - all I seemed to do was cook all day and then throw the uneaten results in the bin. I’m a good cook, it’s just that no one would eat it! Each meal brought on a feeling of dread. What can I give them? What won’t I have to throw away? My repertoire of foods was getting smaller and smaller, and with it, my will to carry on. I needed help and fast!
After a fantastically reassuring call with Kathryn, it was clear that she was right for us and we straight away made an appointment for a consultation. Kathryn met with my husband and I, and she very quickly understood where we needed help and guidance, and our three day sessions were booked in.
I can honestly say I was really looking forward to her visit, I knew it would be challenging at times but this was an opportunity to make a real difference for our family.
My brief to Kathryn was simple, I wanted to be able to make ‘one meal’ for our family and then watch it being emptied into hungry little mouths rather than into the bin.
Within hours of being in our house, miracles happened. My younger son was spooning new tastes and textures into his mouth. And my eldest son was asking if it was the next meal-time, just so he could cook again!
The impact on our family has been enormous. My boys are eating well and are eating a fantastically rounded diet - and as such, are so much happier and healthier in-themselves. My meal time dread has gone and been replaced by the contentment of full little tummies ☺

Welcoming Kathryn into our home was the most pain free method of smoothing out our family wrinkles!
How lucky for us that we found Kathryn to help us. In 72 hours she had my 4 year old son settling himself to sleep and my 7 month old daughter weaning onto solid foods, something I was very anxious about the first time round.
It has been a magical experience and I shall be saying to everyone that ‘just like Elvis’.....she’s alive....’Mary Poppins is alive!’.... and she has visited our home.
